Project Description

Napa Valley Language Academy was a campus that had grown over time in a very eclectic manner. Early in the programming process, AXIA Architects engaged the District and Academy staff to rework the campus functions bringing more logic and cohesion to circulation around the student activities. AXIA strategically designed the new buildings to create courtyards, separate off-campus activities, and reinforce the campus character from the street. The design team also paid particular attention to adaptive reuse of many of the existing buildings on campus.
