ROSELAND ACCELERATED MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Roseland Accelerated Middle School recently celebrated its transition from a series of portable classrooms into its new home designed by AXIA Architects. The 15-classroom 23,000 SF 2-story facility was designed with sensitivity to the existing Roseland Creek Elementary School, whose site amenities it shares. AXIA worked diligently with the District to create a highly efficient design providing ample daylight to the classrooms while incorporating thoughtful solar shading. The efficiencies allowed AXIA to stretch the grant funding dollars to include an outdoor amphitheater and contribute towards a Phase 2 multi-use/cafeteria building (currently planned for 2023).
