WINE COUNTRY HACIENDA II

A wildfire re-build of a reconstructed 1980’s Spanish style ranch house situated in Northern California vineyards and natural rolling oak groves.  The home was lost in the 2019 Kincade Fires.  The new owners wanted to rebuild the house they loved and approached AXIA to create it.  AXIA’s design approach carefully balanced honoring the original residence while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance views, indoor/outdoor connectivity, privacy for guests, and general circulation.   The single level, Spanish style home retained most of the original footprint while repositioning the bedrooms and kitchen wing to embrace a series of landscape gardens. The house is a blend of old-world craftsmanship, the latest technology and seamless integration into the landscape.  Interiors were created by Kendall Wilkinson Design, the landscape by Christa Moné and realization by Berlin Construction.
